Fully Differential Current-Mode Configuration for the Realization of First-Order Filters with Ease of Cascadability

It is well known that fully differential signal processing more advantageous than single-ended in a noisy environment, and widely used audio, video other applications. This paper introduces new configuration contains first-order low-pass (LP) filter, high-pass (HP) all-pass (AP) all present within the same circuit design. The proposed simple employs only one multiple-output current differencing transconductance amplifier grounded capacitor. has wide operating frequency range (up to 73 MHz). additional features offered by include use of lowest number active passive components, suitability integrated chip, support cascadability, electronic tunability, no component-matching restrictions, availability responses, i.e., LP, HP, AP, low-level supply voltages. Non-ideal parasitic analyses are investigated for circuit, PSPICE simulation results presented verify theory. Additionally, LP filter experimentally verified using off-the-shelf ICs. Moreover, cascading feasibility demonstrated realizing nth-order filter.
